Gran Canaria, the digital nomads’ paradise…

In the last few months, lots of digital nomads are choosing La Isleta, in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, to settle down for a period of time and mix work and leisure.

La Isleta is a perfect enclave to work. Next to the beach, surrounded by nature, history culture, and connected with services.

Why do they choose us?

A lot of these young people look for places with identity, and authenticity; neighborhoods and cities that provide them with unique experiences they won’t ever forget.

La Isleta is a place that has those characteristics since it’s a traditional place, with history, with open-minded and kind neighbors, used to interacting with sailors and visitors from all over the globe.

El Puerto gives us that cosmopolitan touch, an international singularity, and an open look towards the cultures that visit us.

La Isleta is multicultural and open, but it keeps its identity and personality.

During the day, the beach and El Confital are the spaces in which we come together, we meet, and where unrepeatable moments arise in a unique and natural environment.

When the night time comes, we also have the beach but El Mercado del Puerto or the restaurants at Las Canteras Avenue join in.

When work is needed, work gets done…

It also is a place where we work and work hard, we are the business area of the city, and El Puerto has lots of companies, both local and international.

We do have Coworking spaces such as Soppa de Azul, with working areas for groups where you can even host events.

If you prefer hotels you have a great selection, if you prefer a local experience, you have our Ecohouse, specifically destined to digital nomads.

La Isleta is a place full of resources: if you need to fix your laptop or phone, you can do it, if you need to rent a car or buy anything you need, you’ll find it…

More advantages

Other advantages are the possibility of going for a walk in the evenings in the Natural Landscape of La Isleta, or in Las Canteras avenue if you prefer that.

You don’t need a car since the communications are extraordinary, moving around with a bike was never this easy and comfortable.

La Isleta is a place where people talk, share, and help each other, for all these reasons digital nomads in Gran Canaria are becoming an important inspiration for many local companies…
