Traveling to a Coliving in a new city where you don’t know anybody and not really knowing the real social situation, could complicate your travel decision…
But when choosing EcoIsleta, we try to help colivers to understand that they are coming to a community neighborhood in a family house…
EcoIsleta is located in a safe neighborhood of Las Palmas, near the beach, full of shops, restaurants, schools, etc, streets are very secure at night and you don’t have to worry when coming late from the pub, this is based in our own experience, we live 300 mt from our coliving…
In EcoIsleta we take very seriously any kind of potential conflicts inside of our house, we consider ourselves a safe community and we encourage healthy relationships, we must respect each other.
EcoIsleta Coliving- Zero Tolerance policy of inappropriate behavior
We have implemented different techniques and policies to avoid and prevent our colivers from any inconvenience.
- Technology is key in preventing incidents…
- Some studies reveal that high turnover increase the risk factor of sexual assault, as potentially such places attract those who are predatory…
- We don’t have lack of clarity in accountability with perpetrators
What we do
- We don’t support a culture of excessive drinking…
- We will provide a conflict mediator to help you in conflicts or to tackle inconvenient situations from the beginning…
- Everybody in our Coliving will be asked to give his/her ID or Passport in the Check In, nobody without identification could stay in the house.
- We carefully select our members, we know and talk with colivers before coming.
- We don´t have a high turnover in our coliving, you won’t see tourist coming for a weekend
- We have a Security camera in the front door, we can monitor who enters the house and when.
- We have a system to monitor the level of noise in the house, the name is Minut.
- Every room in the house has a lock and key.
- We will help and encourage you to report every incident to the police, we are a legal accommodation listed in the government database.
- Perpetrators will have to leave the community…
