Location
You are staying in a beautiful eco coliving located in the center of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, specifically in the neighborhood of La Isleta.
A sustainable accommodation built on a traditional Canarian house of more than 120 years old, restored for the use and enjoyment of our guests.
Since we have respected the original structure, you will be able to enjoy, experience and understand what the constructions of the working families of the 20th century were like, who, based on work and much sacrifice, managed to put the Port of La Luz and the city of Las Palmas, in the place that is today.
Therefore, our most important objective is the valuation and conservation of these houses, which represent a fundamental heritage of our city.
Your Workation hosts
Who is going to welcome you and support you during our workation?
Jonatan Ortega is the owner of EcoIsleta Coliving, he is the local connection of this Regenerative week.
Not only is he from Las Palmas but also knows the history and challenges of this city.
Besides he has had an organic shop since 2014, that shop is connected with some of the best farmers in the island and also to some cooperatives.
Ana Milhazes (I know it’s difficult to pronounce) is the founder of Zero Waste Portugal, keynote speaker, author of the blog “Ana, Go Slowly” and the book “Zero Waste Life”, she is also a Life Coach and a Yoga teacher.
Passionate about traveling with less impact on the environment and more impact to the community, she believes we should leave each place better than we found it.
J Mendes together with his wife Sara created the No Footprint Nomads where they talk about sustainability and the nomadic lifestyle.
He spends most of his time organizing events related to Impact or Remote work, in Portugal he is involved with the 3 days fest called Greenfest and this year he is also working with Running Remote, the biggest of its kind.
He also co-founded a community of nomads focused on impact called Thriving Nomads where social impact is merged with remote work lifestyle.
When he is not working he is with Sara taking care of their little garden at the community garden of their coworking space, Talleres Palermo in Las Palmas.
