Perhaps you are asking yourself what are the coliving amenities in the Canaries, as usual in these units all around the world, most colivings offer coffee, cleaning products, towels, or water.

All the colivings I know have a good variety of different amenities, which is something different from hostels or shared accommodation, eventually increased prices, but most customers expect these amenities.

EcoIsleta Coliving Amenities

We offer different amenities to our colivers. We clean the house twice a week, but also we provide the kitchen with cleaning products, coffee and fruits from our shop, and drinking water.

Our Coliving is very conscious about the sustainability of the Canaries.

We don’t have rivers or too much rain during the year, that’s why we have to take our water from the sea, producing carbon emissions in the process of desalination.

Also, a large quantity of the drinking water comes from abroad, in plastic bottles, because we can not drink water from the tap, these plastic bottles are unsustainable, very expensive, and far away from many sustainable development goals…

Our Osmosis System

We asked ourselves how we could reduce the amount of plastic bottles in our Coliving Canary Islands, and the answer was an Osmosis system.

This system is very convenient for the colivers, they don’t have to buy water in the supermarket, saving money and time.

It took us 2 hours to install it, it cost 150 euros, and the water is even better than many bottled waters in the market.

With this simple action, we have done a big step in our Zero Waste strategy–

  • We have reduced the amount of plastic in our Coliving
  • Colivers save a lot of money and time in the supermarket
  • The quality of the drinking water is very high
