After having dealt with the Coliving of Madeira, the Azores, and the Canary Islands in extensive posts, we had to write something about these islands too, to complete the joint vision of these archipelagos of Macaronesia.
All these archipelagos are of volcanic origin, and we love them so much… they are beautiful…

In Cape Verde, there are several coworking spaces with established communities doing different activities every week.
For Anna Maria Kochanska, one of the main advocates for Cape Verde as the perfect place for Remote working, the city of Mindelo on the island of Saint Vincent is one of the best options.
The main Digital Nomads community in Cape Verde is concentrated in Mindelo, it also has beautiful beaches and a vibrant cultural and music scene, with several coworking spaces.
Other Digital Nomads prefer the islands of Sal, the most visited of the archipelago, or Boa Vista, with incredible beaches for Kite Surfing.
These are a little more expensive than the others, they have magnificent beaches and reliable internet.
Praia is the capital of the archipelago and another of the places where the Digital Nomadas community is concentrated. It also has spectacular beaches
With a vibrant nightlife and diverse coworking spaces.
All islands have great facilities for Digital work with coworkings and apartments to stay in your perfect location.
Wi-Fi

She also organizes different activities in Cape Verde to connect all the expertise from Digital Nomads with the local business ecosystem.
Furthermore, she is also a big advocate for the good impact that Digital Nomads can have in the local communities and businesses…
What is Coliving?
A Coliving is a type of accommodation characterized by having common areas that are shared, such as coworking, bathrooms, and kitchens, in which the owners or hosts of the Coliving intentionally try to create a sense of community.
That sense of community is achieved in several ways…
With common areas in which it is intended that members and guests connect naturally.
With activities of all kinds, such as dinners or hiking, that help members develop relationships.
Coliving is not so much about the accommodation or the room you are in, but the people you can meet, the shared experiences, and the relationships you can develop during your stay.
Coliving in Cape Verde
So far we have not been able to find any Coliving that we can highlight in Cape Verde, we have asked, but we believe that there is still no Coliving space.
As we have shown you, there is a very good ecosystem of coworking spaces on the islands and various well-established communities in Mindelo or Sal, but there is no Coliving.
Most Digital Nomads look for accommodation on Airbnb or other platforms, there are also apartments and hotels.
