Live It Up Las Palmas is also a website that poses as a platform for those who are coming to the city<\/span><\/strong>, allowing them to get to know some crucial information and feel welcome even before they arrive. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once in the city (and often even before they arrive), most digital nomads and remote workers become members of the Live It Up Slack community because this is where you will find all events in the city<\/span><\/strong>, digital nomad or remote work gatherings, festivals, parties, important info, and in the end, make friends. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The community is most famous for organizing recurring gatherings every Tuesday and Wednesday<\/span><\/strong>, as well as other activities that bring together remote workers such as Sunday\u2019s Beach Volleyball Meetup<\/span><\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Live It Up is a carefully managed remote work community with information and channels in their Slack regarding all aspects digital nomads might need information on such as accommodation, coworking spaces, events, professional development, legal advice, etc. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is awesome about this group is that you don\u2019t have to be super informed or research to find your way to it as most people you will meet in the city will use it and let you know about it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Other than this versatile community you will find in Live It Up, as a city tailored to remote workers, there are quite a few coworking spaces all around. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now, even though the primary function of coworking spaces is to provide you with a reliable working space, coworkings are also known to be the centers of community gatherings and making connections with like-minded people. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Las Palmas, coworking spaces will often organize social events, professional sessions, or different meetups for its members<\/strong>,<\/span> or even open the doors to the outside community. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
