We are working to become a solid community in our EcoIsleta Coliving Gran Canaria, because community makes the difference in any coliving.

People look for connections, friendships, and fun when they come to a Coliving. We think that should be our main purpose, and we do many things to help our colivers connect with locals and with other remote workers.

Landing in a new city is sometimes complicated, new culture, new habits, different language, etc… For us, helping remote workers to understand our culture and social issues is very important to get to know our island in different way.

We have been doing dinners in our Coliving Gran Canaria for months. It is a classic event, but with deep consequences for all of us…

Sharing food is one of the best experiences in the world, seriously.

When you do it with people you don’t know, but you share values with them, you can feel love all around.

We need to understand each other, I mean remote workers and locals, we need to talk and share what we think about social issues or cultural barriers…

We know the problems mass tourism has caused in the Canary Islands, big economic benefits with high environmental consequences…

Remote workers open a door of new challenges and opportunities for the islands, for the economy and for locals. We have to know each other, share and connect as a first step to avoid gentrification…

Almost every week we organize different kinds of dinners, like International dinners, Paella Remote, or our Vegan dinner.

We invite you to come and to share your thoughts and to ask anything you don’t understand about us, we will try to help you…

Also we will love to learn from your experience and from your cultural background…

Join our community in Slack to be updated about our community events, you don’t need to be a coliver to come to our dinners…
